Flip over happy Cinderella and she becomes sad Cinderella.
Mood-Swing Cinderella is a handmade treasure from my Grandma Clayton. I kept a few dolls from childhood and this two-headed concoction is my favorite; I just can't help but adore her...and my Grandma Clayton.
Ida and Theo like Cinderella too but after letting them play with her for a minute or two the other day, I determined that Cinderella's going to stay on a shelf and brood alone for a few more years.

"Old" toys and dolls sometimes need to "sit it out" just for the sake of preservation.
Glad you liked/like her so much. My mom was excited to make her.
We had a doll that was so similar to that--except underneath I think it was an ugly old lady. I'm still not sure if she was supposed to be an ugly old lady, but she sure was. Unfortunately, I think ours got tossed somewhere along the way.
I am glad you still have it. Grandma did not make dolls when we were little so i dont have one. but i am glad you have one. Maybe soon they can play with happy/sad cinderella
Love the doll, but mostly I hope Ida is better. Cute pictures of her.
