Sometimes I complain about where I live--e.g., our smoker neighbor who stinks up the whole unit, especially my kitchen, via the air vents. (sick)
But I can't complain about the trees. This is what I see when I am perched at the computer. I am so excited for October! (although once the leaves fall it won't be quite so nice to look at.)

we would LOVE to visit - but at least we get to see you this summer.
Would love to come and visit. It looks really pretty there. Kevin and I are thinking of coming to Washington next summer we may have to stop by.

Bryan and Kirsten live nearby too, you probably know that. And Scott and BriAnna are just a couple of hours away (although by then they may not be anymore).
