I’m so glad my kids have their own (tiny) little corners to retreat to. I wish they could each have their own rooms, but they cannot, so corners it has to be. Ida and Polly got little canopies a while back so that there could be some semblance of separation. š I’m thankful for cozy happy places where my kids can feel safe and warm. (And be as messy as they want… within 10 or so square feet)
Having a space of your own is so important. I didn't have one growing up - with a large family it's tough to find the spaces. But I would often retreat to the tree house - it was a pretty good space!
