Keep the grumps away with this one weird trick.

Maybe this was already obvious to everyone but me. But it turns out that you can't stay grumpy with a Santa hat on. It just feels wrong, so when the grumpy feelings come, you reach up and flip that fuzzy pom pom and remember that it's Christmas. As soon as I discovered this for myself, Ida and I went to Michael's and picked out Santa hats for everyone else in the family. So far, so good.
