For our next DC Day, we went to the Hirshhorn Museum of Modern Art. Hannah joined us! Yay! I love having Hannah along anyway, but it's especially nice at museums because she's a museum pro. Lit'rally.
Lars rode on my back.
Children of the '90s, I defy you to keep the Cher song out of your head when looking at this picture:
Ahh, I used to love that song. Really. I even had a picture of Cher hanging on my wall. True story. It was a page out of Entertainment Weekly.
We ended the visit in the sculpture garden.
And then since Hannah hadn't had all she could take of us quite yet, we went to her house for a snack, then to Ikea for some random errands. Kids eat free on Tuesdays which makes it hard to resist. And pro tip, the Smaland (day care) at the College Park Ikea lets you leave your kids for an entire hour! At the Woodbridge Ikea it's only half an hour. The trade-off is a longer wait time to get into Smaland in the first place, but I thought it was worth it. Anyway, it sure was a long day for everyone, but Hannah was a good sport about it and it is always so great to spend the day with her.

I am loving your summer adventures!! Perhaps I need to get over my fear of your muggy summers and return for a summer visit sometime!!
