Happy New Year

A New Year's thought for you before I post my Resolutions post. Yes, I have one! I just can't find it. I wrote it awhile ago.

Anyway, every new year I think of this quote by the late, great, mysterious* Yeats.

"Life is a journey up a spiral staircase; as we grow older we cover the ground we have covered before, only higher up; as we look down the winding stair below us we measure our progress by the number of places we were but no longer are.
