I wonder how many pictures there are of Hannah and me together. Lots. Most of them are not in my possession. So here's what I could find in a 10-minute search on my computer. Not too shabby.

Two bits of information to share with you on Hannah's birthday.1) At least half the time we meet, we unintentionally wear very similar outfits...sometimes almost identical. It's true. Today we met for lunch and we both had black and white striped shirts and T-strap sandals on. OK, mine was brown and white. OK, I was wearing shorts and she had on a skirt. Close enough.
2) When we were in high school, Hannah and I slept in bunk beds and listened to KOST 103.5 ("Love Songs on the KOST") as we drifted off to sleep. More often than not, "You Are My Shining Star" by the Manhattans came on at some point during the evening. I wonder if it was Ted Ziggenbush's and/or Karen Sharp's favorite song. Anyway, so that is our song. Yes, we have a song. Yes, this post is starting to sound like she is my wife rather than my sister.
So anyway: Hannah: May 25 be all you ever dreamed it would be.
Awwwww love that you listened to KOST. Good post.
ReplyDeleteYou and Hannah were quite a pair. And the older you two get and the more you talk around me, the more I find out about your growing up years - and I was there!! How did I miss so much!!??
ReplyDeleteThat line about her being your wife and not your sister made me laugh out loud!
ReplyDeleteIt is great that you two are so close!

ReplyDeleteSmall important detail.
