I won't stop 'til you get enough.
Our vacation is way over and this is what Theo's prayers still sound like, twice a day every day: "Dear Heavenly Father, Please bless Ida and Daddy and Mama. Please bless Isaac and Miles. Please bless Brooks and Ella. Please bless Emily. Please bless Jenn." This is especially funny because he didn't really know any of these people before we went on the trip and we haven't seen any of them since. But don't you worry, they are still very much with us in spirit. Ida calls her baby doll "Baby Ella" and both kids frequently mention the beach, the beach house, and the fountain. (this lovely blurry thing in the background which was across the street from the house we stayed in and was quite the highlight of the trip.)
Point being that I think they miss the beach house too.
Cute boys sitting at the bar.
Did that sound whiny? Because I was going for wistful but sometimes I turn whiny without meaning to. Is that where Theo gets it? Is he really just going for wistful?
I think I'd miss the beach too! I always wanted to have a summer house - and to go there all summer long!!
ReplyDeleteYou know what would make that beach house better? A large floral rug.
ReplyDeleteA large floral rug would pretty much make anything better. :)
