ta DAAAAAAA
I am not in love with it but it does the job: reminding us of what is important in our lives. If I were to do it over again I'd have more uniformity...all B&Ws, for example, since the frames are all different. Or maybe something else, I don't know, anyway it's kind of cluttery BUT it showcases my parents and grandparents and Matt's parents and grandparents, and a few other delights such as a teeny-tiny Smile Party by Brian Kershisnik, The Family: A Proclamation to the World, our marriage certificate, and some favorite family photos. Now I need to give Ida a spot or two up there.
My most favorite are (not in any particular order): my dad's family after they were sealed in the Los Angeles (LDS) temple in 1982; Matt's parents after motorcycling, also sometime in the '80s; Matt's grandparents kissing in the...'30s?; my family looking chaotic, circa 1987.
And Harry Stevens hanging diapers.
I like your photo collage-they are a nice way to express what your family "is!"
ReplyDeleteI also quite enjoy that picture of Verla and husband. I think it's so romantic.
ReplyDeleteI re-watched the bird video to see the glimpse of the wall but I don't see it. Where is it? Above the bookshelf?

Very nice. Thanks for posting it.
ReplyDeletekthx
ReplyDeleteWhere's the mirror, then?

ReplyDeleteI actually quite love the cluttery-ness of it. I think it's perfect. The kissing picture is amazing.
