If you'll kindly get your map out

. . . of the country we love best, I'll recite the states by region from the east out to the west.

"Too bad, you finished in 5:51:04. You really need more practice. "

I gave up Tetris, and all forms thereof, cold turkey in 1999. But then I saw this funny Statetris yesterday and had to try it, being the U.S. geography amazo that I am.

I did horribly on my first try on the Easy level. (On the Medium and Hard levels, you have to rotate the state shapes to make them fit, and you don't see the state names on the Hard level.) I am going to wait until my to-do list gets about 50 feet shorter before I try again . . . and then move on to Europe, and Africa, and . . . hey, there's a Netherlands one too.

I just really like geography, OK.

    You're a girl after my own heart...at least you aren't nerdy enough to actually GRADUATE in geography. What was I thinking...

    I did the easy level and I got-

    "err- you finished in 6:51.1"
