And, we're back.

I remember when I was a teenager, my sister Bonny thanked me for loving her kids. Now after having spent a packed 2 weeks with dear family and friends, I understand. It is good to know that you're not the only one who thinks your child is pretty great.

So . . . thank you for loving him!

I wish I had more pictures of all the friends and family we saw on this trip . . . but I don't . . . and there were lots more.

Looking through I am noticing that I didn't get a picture of T with little Agnes, whose blessing was yesterday. Or with any of his aunts and uncles besides Hannah, or with Calvin or Annie or Michael or baby Harry. Or with Susanne or my grandma. (Or with Donna or my other grandma, although there was a bit of a broken arm that got in the way of that visit. Get well soon Grandma!!)

Well anyway I'm sure you understand.

  1. How fun!

It is special to have people love your baby. It is a testament to the person you are.

I loved seeing you and Theo! And Eve and Porter were so funny. I can only imagine the great couple of weeks you had.

Glad you are home safe! I bet it feels good to sleep in your own bed.

Can't wait to see you at Christmas. We should throw Theo a birthday party.

    Love ya!

  3. I would agree that it is pretty wonderful to have your family think your kids are great. I loved watching my brother and Jeff and my younger sisters around Melissa when she was little. They loved her so much (and still do). They still love all my kids and that means alot to me! (The extended family seems to like them too!) I know we love Theo though we haven't met him in person yet!

  5. it is so funny how your toe-headed nieces and nephews are little Terrills (look like they could by your siblings) while Theo blends in perfectly with Matt's parents. Those are his parent's, I'm assuming, because he looks exactly like them.
This is when parenting really starts to get fun.
