I heard from my mom, my dad, my three sisters, old friends Katie, Mandy, and Alex, my in-laws, and even my bishop! I thought it was so funny that my bishop called me on my birthday. What a nice guy. I also got lots of nice posts on Facebook. And a card from my fave Vienna roommate Ashley! And a funny text from my niece Ara.
I got some super-duper presents, too. (BRAG) Matt gave me a keyboard! (a nice one with a damper pedal) which I took a picture of for your viewing pleasure but it's still on my camera, sorry. I hadn't played the piano for 8 months and I was hankering. He also treated me to a shopping spree! which I did not take a picture of, but let me tell you it was a good time. I spent most of my allotment on clothes for Theo, but that's just as fun as clothes for me.
Noah gave me the soundtrack to The Chipmunk Adventure. That guy always gives the best presents! Past fave nostalgia-gifts from my fave little brother include DVDs of Unico in the Island of Magic and The Sword in the Stone.
Matt refuses to allow said Chipmunk soundtrack to be played in his presence...but that's to be expected. I don't enjoy it any less.
Seriously--Chipmunks--so funny. Come over and I'll play it for ya.
Sounds like a fun birthday! I love baby clothes too, I like to look at them and I don't even have a baby.
