A very minor disaster nearly struck last night...I fell asleep on the couch around 9:45 p.m., only to wake up and discover it was 10:15 and I had missed the first half of Newlyweds!

Fortunately, I got over it quickly, and just watched the second half instead.

But I was dangerously close to missing Nick and Jessica for the first time all summer.

You see, my life is a lot like theirs, so I can relate. That's why I watch.
