Just a little somethin' for Monday.

Ummm...I have absolutely nothing to post about, at least nothing that I can put into coherent words.

So here is a blurry photo of us looking kind of glassy-eyed at a basketball game on MLK Day. Our friends invited us to share a box with them when the Wizards played the Jazz. On a scale from 1 to 10 I have about a level 2 interest in either the Jazz or the Wizards. But, it was really fun to spend the day with friends and family and also to eat hot dogs, popcorn, and candy for lunch. Less fun to get my heart to stop pounding when Theo stood up on the guardrail.

Oh and the arena wasn't really that empty....this was after the game ended.

Also now that it's basically March I am considering myself 6 months pregnant and hosting a very lively and active and rapidly growing baby whom Theo and Ida talk to regularly. "Hi baby, it's me Theo, your big brother!" "And I'm Ida, and I'm your sister!" (If you know Ida, you know it's more like "I'm yo sisto!") Yeah, I kind of love it.

I am also quite enjoying the fact that according to this photo I apparently hardly looked pregnant a month ago. I have since, shall we say...blossomed. Now, when strangers ask me when I am due, I am tempted to say "Any day now!" so that I don't get the "REALLY?" type questions that I got with Ida. (e.g., "Really?...Are you having twins?") Actually I have not gotten those questions this time. Which is ironic since I learned recently that now, at 6 months, I weigh what I did right before Ida was born. NBD.

  2. How fun! Theo standing on the guardrail would make my heart pound too. Did you hear what happened at the staple center last year. Maybe it's better if you didn't.

    Also, that Ida has style!

  3. I did have a very, very large belly when I was pregnant with Theo but I was not very large with Ida. Which is why I was always somewhat perplexed when I got the twin questions.

I definitely DO NOT want to hear about what happened at the Staples Center. My kids falling from a high place is pretty much my worst nightmare.
