My mom bought me a sling and Ida has basically lived in it since it arrived. She is so much more snuggly than Theo ever was. She's one of those babies who needed a fourth trimester. Now if only I had a few extra minutes to go buy me a fake ponytail on a comb from a mall kiosk, I'd be all set for Halloween.
Well, you could walk around with Ida in the sling and pretend you are wearing $150,000 worth of great clothes a la Edith Head - according to the LA Times, that was the "look" they found for her - and tell Theo, "This is Halloween!"
ReplyDeleteAt least it won't cost you anything.
Even though I'm a big fan of Palin (don't mock) this is a HILARIOUS picture. Good job, Lizer. I especially love the cop in the background I noticed upon further scrutiny.
ReplyDeleteI read that she returned most of the clothes.
ReplyDeleteBut $150K is sure a lot.
PS I wasn't trying to offer an opinion on Sarah Palin, or babywearing, or Sarah Palin's babywearing, I just thought it would be a good Halloween costume.
ReplyDeleteThere were so many Sarah Palins at the med school Halloween party that they had a Sarah Palin sub-category at the costume contest.
ReplyDeleteunbelievable. Go to hulu and watch SNL's clip of an "interview" with her and Katie Kourik. It is sooo funny, even though I realize how slanted it is and what propaganda it may be sending out. They totally pinned her.
ReplyDeleteI think Tina Fey has her down pat. I have to say I didn't see much of a difference between the SNL "interview" and the actual interview. Both made me want to avert my eyes. My favorite "Fey as Palin" sketch was the early one with her and Amy Poehler as Hillary Clinton. ("I can see Russia from my house!")
ReplyDeleteI also think Fred Armisen does a pretty good Barack Obama.
yah totally. I donno why impersonations are so funny, but this election year has got a wide range of characters. I will have to look those up....since I don't have anything better to do with my time or anything.
