Favorite quote from Dawn: "Now he looks like a handsome little boy instead of a pretty little girl."
So true.
Side note, Theo got out of his crib by himself this morning. What! I heard a loud thump and later saw a red mark on his head, so maybe he's scared away from that adventure for a little while. Cross your fingers.
Hmm - climbing out of a crib!!
ReplyDeleteThey all try it - some sooner than later.
You actually never tried it - unless the side of your crib was down - I guess you thought that's why I put it down - and it was!
At least it's not a long drop!
I just love this little boy!
ReplyDeleteI will definently have to come visit and see him on his home turf.
It was so much fun to get to hang out with all of you.
Yeah, he was pretty shaken by it. I have no idea how he got out but he did somehow hit his head on the way down, and he hasn't tried it again. Maybe he was just used to being in a regular crib for 2 1/2 weeks.
ReplyDeleteI have to say though, it's a lot easier to lift him into a pack'n'play than a crib. I never did figure out how to lower the side of the crib at Mom's house, plus the room divider was in the way.
Katie, you are always welcome here!
ReplyDeleteHe is SO handsome! Seriously.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful boy indeed! First haircuts to crib escapes, it brings back so many fond memories of my own little boy. You will be so glad in years to come that it's all been documented.
ReplyDeleteMy little boy is officially a BYU man! We just returned a week or so ago from Provo. Ethan decided to take a couple of classes this summer and learn his way around before the 30,000 plus students hit the campus this fall.
Funny, when you're a young mom cleaning up messes, changing diapers, reading bedtime stories, kissing bumped heads and knees, it seems never ending. I look back now and think where did those eighteen years go...
