It's Difficult to Get the Films Now--It's All Video, Video, Video

Matt and I have been devouring Alias DVDs lately. Not literally, of course, but we got through volume 1 of season 2 in the past 4 days. That's...I don't know. Several hours' worth. It's addicting. Since we didn't start watching until the third season, and the fifth season is starting soon, we need to get caught up. Or perhaps it's more of a "want" than a "need," but whatever.

So all the jet-setting that Sydney and her fellow spies do has definitely gotten me into the traveling mood. Fortunately, we've got a big trip coming up that only today became finalized. Also fortunately, I still haven't changed my driver's license or passport to my married name (although we're coming up on 2 years here), so it'll be kind of like I'm traveling under an assumed name.

Maybe that's not fortunately. But it makes things fun, right? Right?

So anyway...our trip was finalized today. Final Final. Thought I'd spread the news! No need to be jealous of the jet lag, the constant running through airports and cities, and the utter and complete emptying of our savings account that I will experience during the first two weeks of October. No need to be jealous of the approximately 25 hours that I will spend on airplanes (I'm not even including airport time) within 16 days.

But feel free to be jealous that I'll be spending the first two weeks of October not only on airplanes but also in Seattle, New York, England, Switzerland, France, and Italy.

Ah yes, feel free.

Okay, Seattle doesn't count since I'll be in class the whole time.

But doesn't the rest sound fun?

  1. Well I probably won't be going out of town again for a while! So yeah, the second weekend in November sounds great. Isn't that about the same time you came last year too? We should make this a tradition. ;)

Canada sounds fun! I've never been there either. Is your dad ready? I honestly can't imagine doing that much running and swimming and biking. Ever.

  4. I'm so jealous. My dream is to go to Italy. It is one of my goals to do before I do. As well as fishing. Maybe I should go fishing in Italy.
